“Shame, anxiety, stigma, dreams and powerlessness towards the system. Bon appetite!”

Eight welfare recipients visit a French elite art film.

They explore a abundance of food, sex and existentialism. Why do the rich eat so much? What do they want with Angora sweaters? And why don’t they know how to live their lives?

Fix & Foxy invites a group of welfare recipients to test and comment on upper-class life as portrayed by the cultural elite themselves.

In Fix & Foxy’s La Grande Bouffe, two social groups clash in the theater. Our prejudices about one another turn into a picture of modern life with all its hopes and meaninglessness.
