21 January – 18 February 2012 – Husets Teater
With the freak show Sex and Violence, fix+foxy brings the entertainment out in the extremes. Without any moral the show presents the sex, violence and real disaster that is the preferable entertainment of our time.
By this, the audience gets the opportunity to laugh at the ugly, the strange and the unsympathetic – and the poor life of theirs. Five enormous dolls from the shadow side of life inhabit the stage. They use assaults and neglect to express themselves, so here comes a pornographic and violent music performance where the dolls are accessible for research in the dark areas of the human soul.
Sex and Violence is a muppet show for adults with a group of ugly, dumb and unrestrained giant dolls ready to go as far as needed to entertain their audience. Dolls are outside of the legal restrictions, so there is nothing they aren’t allowed to do. And luckily, the people harmed are not real!
Venue Husets Teater, Copenhagen
The performance is a co-production between fix+foxy and Husets Teater
The performance is supported by The Danish Art Council
