They dig into food, sex and existentialism. Why do the rich eat so much? Why do they wear Angora sweaters? And how come they have such a hard time figuring out how to live their lives?
fix+foxy invites a group of people living on benefits to evaluate and comment on upper-class living, as portrayed by the cultural elite. Our prejudices about each other turn into an image of modern live, displaying both hope and futility.
Based on the movie La grande Bouffe by Marco Ferreri, Rafael Azcona and Francis Blanche with permission from the publishing company Nordiska ApS – Copenhagen.
La Grande Bouffe was performed 21 November – 1 December 2015 at Dansehallerne in Copenhagen.
”fix&foxy’s ‘La Grande Bouffe’ is a thought-provoking performance about overconsumption and prejudice.”
