Land without dreams

A SCI-Fi TO END ALL SCI-FIES

April 21 - June 2, 2018 - Royal Danish Theatre

★★★★
Tue Biering strikes again with an astonishing attempt to make the audience insecure.

Biering’s future bid becomes truly intriguing in all its paradoxical ambiguity. It culminates in a scoop of a vision, fascinatingly imaginative, naked!

★★★★
The Land Without Dreams is a God-given wonderful monologue that, in warm terms, big words and a disturbing dystopian undertone, reminds us that the future is created by ourselves – right now.”
Iscene.dk

Tue Biering has created an intense and tight performance and Lise Lauenblad excels as the woman of the future who has come to reassure us. She takes the audience by the hand and presents the complex thought behind the performance with calm, nerve and lots of humor. Bravo!

ABOUT

On stage is a woman claiming to be from the future. She says that we have stopped dreaming. That she is here to save us from ourselves. Land without Dreams is a sci-fi to end all sci-fies telling the story of a promising future in opposition to the multiple dystopian nightmares that make up the sci-fi genre. Featuring one woman and 12 more people from the future. What if the future is bright and promising and everything, we want it to be and fear is just a feeling that is triggered by the unknown?
