The Europeans is a collage of major european classic texts dealing with war, beginning with Aeschylus. The
collage is set in a garden, adapting the classic conflicts into everyday life. During the play quotes from modern politics were continously interwowen into the texts, blurring the distance between classical and modern. At the time, Denmark was engaged in war for the first time in a very long time.
The Europeans was by The Royal Danish Theatre.
The Europeans was performed in November and December at Turbinehallerne, The Royal Danish Theatre in 2005.
