‘The Europeans’ is a collage of mayor european classicals concerning war, starting with Aischylos. The collage is set in a garden, translating the classical conflicts to danish everyday life. During the play quotes from modern politics were continously interwowen into the texts, blurring the distance between classical and modern. At that time Denmark was for the first time in a very long time engaged in war
